What’s A Cock Summit and Who Is The Mastermind Behind It?

Dr. Jallen Rix

Dr. Jallen Rix

You may know Dr. Jallen Rix, otherwise known on BateWorld as Hand2rod, as the creator of the hugely popular Cock Meditation videos (in addition to his own personal videos). A sexologist, Dr. Rix has now collaborated with the BateWorld team to produce a weekend retreat that will take men out from behind their computers and into a community of like-minded bators ( C Summit – Come True Productions ).

Author Jason Armstrong, aka wildhorse100 on BateWorld, was intrigued by the idea of a Cock Summit and reached out to Jallen to ask him some questions about this weekend designed for all those “who enjoy making their cocks feel great.” Read below to discover the who, what, where and why…

JA: Your bate meditation videos have proved so popular. Can you tell us some of the personal reaction you’ve received from BateWorld members?

JR: I’ve received so many positive responses everything from “This was so helpful,” to “You just made me cum buckets!” Most of them fall into the different categories of meditation I explored, like when we released the “Morningwood” Meditation for guys to use as they wake up, I actually got some responses which either said, “That’s what I do every morning,” or I got a few who said, “Your meditation has changed the way I get up in the morning.”—I’m so proud!

JA: Where was the idea born for these meditations? Were bate meditations something you learned when studying for your Doctorate of Education in Sexology?

JR: Self-pleasuring can be a very meditative experience. This is not a new idea. For centuries, people have used meditative practices for the raising of sexual energy in various forms of tantra. Because our Western Societies have often shamed sexual pleasure by separating it out from other aspects of our everyday lives (our emotions, our spirituality, our connection to nature), it doesn’t always occur to us that all these things fit together quite nicely to create great healing, and health and deep, satisfying pleasure.

There are so many different styles and purposes of meditation that it was very easy and quite fun to explore those different uses with my cock in hand – instructional meditation, inspirational meditation, communal meditation, guided meditation (in which the listener is told a story that they can imagine themselves within). Initially, the cock meditations were to simply be audio for the listener to here, but Heck! It’s the internet, why not make them visually meditative too! It certainly fed my exhibitionist side.

JA: Can you explain what a Sexologist is and does?

JR: A sexologist is someone who researches and educates about what people do sexually and how they feel about it. The field crosses the biological, medical, and psychological. People with a sexology degree often go into research, or teaching or therapy or some combination thereof. I primarily teach in various capacities and maintain a private practice where I work with clients and couples (skype or in person) to improve and maximize their sexual wellbeing.

JA: You’re taking your masturbation meditation videos to a whole new level now, by hosting the BateWorld-sponsored Cock Summit Retreat between April 7-9 just outside of San Diego ( C Summit – Come True Productions ). Tell us more about the Summit – will it incorporate ideas from the meditations?

JR: Both the BateWorld gang and I have seen the value of their website bateworld.com which connects (mastur)Bators to each other all around the world. We wanted to take that sense of connection and the sense that “I am not alone” to the next level—not just through the computer, but in person and face-to-face. It’s our first try at something like this, so we’ll start small and intimate, see how it goes, and try it again in a while perhaps on a larger scale. We can accommodate 45 guys at this beautiful desert Yoga Retreat Center. We are going to try and strike a balance between meditative and phallus focused activities, to hanging out by the pool and hot tub, to dancing naked around the fire – all for the fun, glory, and adoration of our cocks!

JA: Who is this Summit intended for, and what do you most hope the attendees will take away from it?

JR: The summit is for any male-identified guy who wants to generate further pleasure in their body and penis, not just isolated behind their computer monitor, but in person, outside, in nature, around a fire, and with other like-hearted men. I know the power, strength, and confidence a well-crafted circle-jerk can have on my own sense of masculinity. It is a unique experience, and the brotherhood of men can share and empower each other with it. If my fellow brothers can “cum” away from the weekend feeling just a little less alone and a little more proud of their own unique manhood, we will have accomplished something really special!

JA: You reveal so much of your own vulnerability in your meditation videos. Does that make you nervous at all? Are you nervous about hosting the Cock Summit? Or excited? Or both? I guess I wonder if you see that as part of being a sexologist?

JR: Oh! Hell yes! It is both scary and thrilling all at the same time. So far, though, BateWorld has been a safe place for me to stretch my legs, drop my drawers, and express my unique sexuality. As a sexual professional, it is really important for me to practice what I preach. Our society has few role models of what sexual health and integrity looks like. Quite frankly, I feel called to this work, and I can speak from both education and experience. The more vulnerable I can be in sharing my true sexual self, the stronger, more confident I become in living my life with as little shame as possible. In a number of ways, that’s what the Cock Summit is for.

Maybe where you live it’s not possible or not even safe for you to be as “out” or public as I am about your sexual expression, but you can come to the Cock Summit, and we will heap as much unconditional accept on each other as possible, and you will be valued for wherever you are in your journey. With your hand around your dick and your other hand on your brother’s shoulder, we are going to take our phallus devotion to a whole new level.

JA: What would you say to people who are skeptical of the spiritual aspects of worshipping the phallus?

JR: Men have been jacking off since the dawn of time. Because of the overwhelming shame our society carries about sexuality, much of the sexual history of our ancestors has been lost or hidden and therefore, we can be shortsighted about the spiritual benefits of deep, satisfying self-pleasure. Here’s a practical analogy: I like to look at a little puppy. When it receives touch, there is no doubt that it completely abandons itself to the pleasure – what’s so shameful about that? For me, a puppy’s abandon to pleasure is the gold standard.

Further, the body at it’s more heightened ecstatic states brings about health, and a strong immune system, endorphin rushes, exercise, blood flow, deep breathing, just to name a few benefits. It also puts our mind into an altered state of euphoria—some would call it a kind of “spiritual” state of awareness. People (myself included) have experienced all kinds of visions, revelations, insights, and life changes, while in the midst of great sexual pleasure. The radical faerie in me just says, “There be magic in that phallus, and I’m gonna cozy up to it till I get some.”

Who’s to say that the cure for cancer won’t be discovered at the eruption of an orgasm? Who’s to say that that the demons of mental illness can be at peace in the long, pleasurable ritual of edging your cock? And who’s to say that we can exponentially expand this pleasurable experience and spiritual awareness in the company of brothers who are doing the same thing all at the same time? Can I get an, “Amen?”

JA: They say that the best way to predict the future is to create it. What do you think is the future of masturbation? Do you see people tuning in more and more to the bate as a way to connect to self, or do you find that masturbation still makes some uncomfortable?

JR: If we are to be evolved and skillful sexual beings, we have to go on a journey of sexual enlightenment. In this society that journey almost always starts with some kind of dissatisfaction, discomfort and/or shame. For some, that’s as far as they go. Our historic ignorance about self-pleasure is fraught with misinformation and resolute naivety – everything from hairy palms, to masturbation being a sad second to “real” sex – all of these are wrong.

Yet, in the past decade, with the access to so much information, people are figuring it out. I like to joke that “online sex” is natures way of curbing the overpopulation explosion. Whole sites are dedicated to watching people pleasure themselves, and obviously, the wild success of sites like Chaturbate say something about the amazing beauty and even contagious humanity of self-pleasuring.

Of course, masturbation can often be more satisfying than sex with another partner because we can adjust and fine tune our pleasure in an instant. Now, we don’t have to do it in such extreme isolation or fear. We have sites on which to connect, and we have the Cock Summit to do it in person. So I hope everyone will join the fun and “cum” with us. The retreat is beginning to fill up! See you there!

  1. Thanks Jason and Jallen, great article and interview. While I probably won’t make it to the Cock Summit, what you write helps encourage me in the bate and I think your sex-positive views are so important to help unlock the potential for self-pleasuring among men. When I grow up, I want to be a sexologist Lol

    1. Thanks doggy! It’s so nice to hear our thoughts and rantings have a positive effect on readers! Too bad you can’t make it to the Summit, but there will be others!
