BATEWORLD 2016 IS COMING

Since we started BateWorld six years ago, we've been slowly evolving and improving our user experience. The current version, BateWorld2.0, was launched in 2010 after our first year of operation. We've continually improved on that foundation for five years and now we're ready to take it to the next stage. In 2016, BateWorld will begin its third phase of transformation. Our members will soon begin to see changes to the site, which may continue gradually through several more years as we upgrade every element of BateWorld.

RECLAIMING MASTURBATION: PART 4 – THE HEALING POWER OF PLEASURE

Pleasure is not solely delegated to sex. Although this has become the focus of this "Reclaiming Masturbation" series, I want to take this last post to expand the idea and concept of what masturbation could be. Strictly speaking, let's think of masturbation not only as a sexual activity but also as any activity that "strokes" (in a manner of speaking) you to a higher place of pleasure, delight, and consciousness. This could be elicited through the listening of a great piece of music, eating a delectable meal, having a stimulating conversation with a good friend, enjoying a great movie, or attending a thought-provoking lecture.

GAY CELEBRITIES FROM CLASSIC TV: PAUL WINFIELD & WILL GEER

This is our second in a continuing series about gay and bisexual actors from classic television. Paul Winfield and Will Geer were remarkable actors who - like so many actors of their time - had to be discrete about their personal lives...

RECLAIMING MASTURBATION: PART 3 – PORNOGRAPHY!

Pornography has been a present aspect of many people’s sexual landscape including my own. In this, Part 3 of Reclaiming Masturbation, I want to share my thoughts, concerns, techniques, and insights into how to create a more mindful masturbation practice around porn watching. Pornography, in my opinion, exists for two main reasons and in two main categories simultaneously: Sex as Art (the adoration of the beauty of sex) and Sex as Science (the actual arousal and stimulation of watching the mechanics of sex).

Introducing Gooning: Portrait of a Masturbator

When masturbation is the subject of a book you’re writing every bate gets to be categorized as “research”. I am indeed writing a book about masturbation, and I do “research” every day. I often scribble down notes on a notepad as inspiration or revelation hit me during a bate. A lot of my pens are sticky. My name is Jason Armstrong. I’m the author of a sex blog...

Spunk: Antonio Da Silva Creates A Masterpiece

Antonio Da Silva’s films are completely unique, openly explicit, and erotically charged documents of man-to-man sexuality. Da Silva’s filmmaking often touches on the interactions between technology and hookups, and with Spunk (2015), he goes deep-in to examine and artfully decode our new world of digital media as it redefines

RECLAIMING MASTURBATION: PART 2 – MORE TRICKS OF THE TRADE!

A few days ago a dear friend of mine asked, "Garland, why are you writing about how to masturbate? Masturbation's been around as long as man's been on the planet!"

We both laughed 'cause his question is a legitimate one. Why write about something that, arguably, billions of people have engaged in for ages; putting hand or device to penis or vagina, stimulate until orgasm/ejaculation, the end. Of course his question insinuates that EVERYONE knows how to masturbate. Like, duh?

NAKED IN THE STREETS!

I had wanted to go on this ride for years but it never aligned with my schedule. As a sexologist and a body-diversity advocate, I try to find as many ways to affirm everyone’s body in its natural state as much as possible. Due to the hyper conformity of both centuries of puritanical religious dogma and modern day consumerism, one of the worst problems our society faces is that most of the population is disgusted by their own natural image. It may not sound like a big deal, but what we believe about our bodies is what we believe about ourselves...

RECLAIMING MASTURBATION: PART 1

I began a slow journey back to reclaiming the self-pleasures of my penis. Granted, against my parents' wishes, I continued to masturbate all those 22 years, but it was never something that I felt I could fully throw myself into as a self-loving and self-pleasuring activity - an activity whose own pleasure was reason enough to indulge. My folks, coupled with my religious upbringing, had previously and systematically ruined this self-loving potential. Every time I'd do it, I'd be riddled with guilt.

SENSE 8: The BatorBlog Review

We started out at one point talking about how evolution involves creating ever greater circles of empathy: You belong to your family, then you belong to your tribe, then two tribes link up and now you have empathy for your people on this side of the river… on and on through villages, cities, states and nations…

DAWN OF THE SOLOSEXUAL

ORIGINALLY POSTED AT KINKLY.COM

If you ask any open-minded, educated person about masturbation, they will most likely smile and say it’s wonderful, healthy and normal. However, if you told them that masturbation was your favorite sexual outlet or even your only sexual outlet, that smiling face might turn into one of concern or confusion.
