MORNING WOOD MEDITATION

Meditation. Despite all the crunchy-granola, “woo-woo” stereotypes, simply put: Meditation is focusing the mind. Whether our attention is taken up by a repeated phrase (a mantra), or our mind is invited to journey through a vividly narrated story, or we are concentrating so strongly on a task it is as if we are in a trance – mental focus can be a powerful tool of change and transformation in our lives.

Although our brains are firing dozens, if not hundreds of thoughts in a single moment, in our fast-paced, push-button society, our mental processes can get spread so thin we literally paralyze our ability to do anything in a satisfying manner. Sure, there are some people who thrive in this chaos, but we all have our limits, and having the ability to generate mental clarity and decisiveness can indeed be a powerful asset in our thinking. But it does take some practice – like exercising a muscle – this is what meditation is for.

So why not meditate on our cocks? Why not take just a few minutes to ramp up and focus on what is often the pivotal body part of our sexual pleasure? No doubt, most of us already do this when we masturbate. But we also use our dicks to mentally “check out,” and there’s certainly nothing wrong with that after a hard day. Yet, I often hear people pitting their mind against their body, as if the nagging monkey mind is a big “downer,” and the body is the free-wheeling, feel-good party animal.

Although this dichotomy makes sense, in reality, none of us can function with just one or the other. In fact, it could hardly be called “living” if either our body or our brain were absent. So why not align our mind and body and double our pleasure resources!

Cock meditation uses BOTH our body and our mind to generate wholeness, deep satisfaction, and just some good ol’ sexy fun.

  1. Would it be possible to have this, and any other meditations, available as an Mp3 download?
    Listening to meditations on a digital device or CD is much better than having the computer on throughout.
