Ask The Batemaster: JO Photos Leaked On The Web

Ask The Batemaster

Just accept full responsibility for everything you do, learn from the experience, and understand that you can never be truly responsible for what anyone else does.

QUESTION: I’m not underage, but sometimes I wonder if I’m smart. I was camming with this older guy and I asked him to take screenshots of me naked and bating. He sent them to me. They were so hot that I masturbated to them for hours. But then he posted some of them in his BW photos, and it scared me! My family is really religious and prominent where I live. He took them down when I asked him to. But what if he shares them somewhere else?

RESPONSE: Just accept full responsibility for everything you do, learn from the experience, and understand that you can never be truly responsible for what anyone else does. Most likely, your family will never learn about this, and probably no one in the area where you live will see the photos online and recognize you. Think about this clearly: 1.) We all have some doppelgangers, or doubles on a planet of 7+ billion human, meaning people who look a lot like us, so people can’t be totally sure it’s you; 2.) How many people who know you have seen you naked? 3.) Those two things make it unlikely, if not impossible that you’ll have a problem from this.

Another important thing to consider is that to be naked and to masturbate is neither immoral, nor illegal, at least not in private places. It’s no big problem in online forums such as Bateworld, or camming sites where guys often masturbate for the very purpose of seeing and being seen. Of course, the legality of these matter in terms of age varies in different places around the world. In the USA, there are still crazy sets of laws in some places that mean you can appear in porn at age 18, but you cannot legally look at porn until you are 21. How absurd is that?

Online, the images this guy made of you (at your own request, remember?) are not likely to be seen by many people except some men who want to see such images, and to masturbate to them. You really don’t have a lot to worry about.

Let me tell you what I decided about 20 years ago, on the matter of my own photos of myself naked and masturbating, and then later this included videos. Even then, when the Internet was pretty much a newborn thing, I remember that I considered carefully. I realized that potentially ANYONE in the world might see these images—including my family members. However, at the same time I considered: There is nothing immoral, illegal, or in any way shameful about this! On the contrary, I decided that to proudly share the images of myself online for anyone who might wish to view them, was a nonverbal message saying just this: no shame! (Read the previous sentence again, please.) Be proud of your masturbation!

That’s also why I did not hesitate to show my face. I knew there could be repercussions, but in my case, they have all been good. During the late 1990s I wrote professionally for JackinWorld, the well-known educational site, where I was paid $100 per column. At the time, I used a pen-name, “Bruce McFarland,” out of consideration for my beloved partner, and my family. I even gave my family members the website link and told them about it. I doubt any of them really wanted to explore my extra career as a sex educator in an important field.

In your case, you may not be looking for a career as an erotic activist like the career I have—still, I don’t think you have anything to worry about. The fact that your images aroused you means that a lot of other guys will also enjoy them.  Only if you do anything of the kind again, do be aware you cannot completely control where the images might end up. With this understanding, accept 100% responsibility for sharing them.

How Bruce P. Grether became the Batemaster

Among his earliest memories, Bruce recalls seeing an adult man’s penis swing about anchored in a nest of curly brown hairs when the man was changing clothes. That penis fascinated him and he somehow knew it was of major importance. He also remembers how good it felt to slide down a stairway banister or to climb a tree with pressure between his legs sending delicious sensations all through his body.

At an early age, he played doctor with another boy his age, and the frottage he enjoyed as they rubbed their penises together made him feel One with All Things.

He was older, maybe 9 or 10 years when he figured out how to actually masturbate while taking a shower. Immediately Bruce became a fan of self-pleasure, though, with puberty, he became extremely shy about his body being seen. Still, when his pubic hair sprouted and his penis grew bigger, it astonished him how incredible the sensations could feel with adult genitalia.

All through his 20s and 30s Bruce loved masturbating and did it often. Something kept tell him though, that there could be more to it. None of the books he read about Tantra and Taoist erotic cultivation provided simple how-to instructions. Finally, in his early 40s, he came upon Joseph Kramer’s video about male genital massage: FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN.

Having no playmates to try this with, he tried it on himself. In the process, he discovered what he soon named “Mindful Masturbation.” For 6 weeks he masturbated for hours every day, and did not ejaculate once! This was the Penis Paradise he had been looking for since his adventures playing doctor as a young boy. He was changed forever and lost most of his shyness and insecurities.

Bruce began to listen deeply to whatever his penis told him. This way he learned more and more about male masturbation, the penis, and he studied human sexuality. Soon he was hired to write professionally for the sex education site JackinWorld (dot) com, which he did for some years under the name “Bruce McFarland.”

Since then, his erotic activism is more radical and he uses his actual given name: Bruce P. Grether, AKA the Batemaster. He has hosted workshops and now does online masturbation coaching. In 2012 his best-selling book THE SECRET OF THE GOLDEN PHALLUS was published and with his handsome young friend Blue Tyger he created the Erotic Engineering site to explore advanced male self-pleasure practices.

Bruce considers himself a Missionary of the Male Mysteries and his work continues.
