Ask The Batemaster: I Saw My Brothers Bateworld Profile

My brother left his laptop open and I saw his Bateworld profile: photos and vids. I’m scared, but excited too! What do I do?

Batemaster LogoQUESTION: My older brother and I are both in college at different schools. A while back we visited home. One night he left his laptop on, went outside to talk on his phone, and I opened it and saw his Bateworld profile: photos and vids. Not his face, but it’s him. He has some tatts that I know. I’ll admit I got turned on, and part of me wants to tell him what I saw. I’m scared, but excited too! I mean, he has a girlfriend and all, but what do I do?

RESPONSE: Though it’s considered taboo, your interest in itself is nothing wrong, but you were out of line to look at his computer without his permission. You did not mention whether or not you are also a BW member, but as I got your question when you messaged me on this site, clearly you are. The truth is, I can’t tell you what to do, except please do tread carefully, as far as letting your brother know.

Though you may have some fantasies about where this could lead, it could also prove disastrous to let him know too directly. The fact that you are both members of the world’s original and most specifically male masturbation-oriented site, is not the only reason to be aware that your brother also masturbates. Of course, he masturbates! You are both young men, and at an age when erections come easily, often without clear reason. To do something with that energy is natural and healthy.

Probably the wisest approach is to bring up the subject more generally, and perhaps even casually ask him if he is a member of BW, unless you’ve already discussed this. It could be awkward, especially because you are literally close family members.

Technically, if you go very far with this, it could be considered incest, a major taboo. At the same time, in my position, I’ve heard accounts from many men over the years of similar situations, though not these particular details. Try to keep calm and look at this as realistically as you can: To keep a good relationship with your brother is far more precious than letting your excitement get away with you.

If you brother feels his privacy is violated, or if he gets the wrong idea and reacts against your revelation, thinking you are suggesting something he is seriously uncomfortable with, it could spell major and lasting trouble between you. It’s ideal to have no secrets between ourselves and people we love—just proceed with caution. You can probably make indirect hints, by privately mentioning BW. Maybe ask him what he thinks about masturbation in more general terms.

If he’s not bothered talking about it, let the subject evolve naturally. Try to relax, take your time, and keep the perspective of what really matters most. Your brother might actually just laugh it off, if he figures out what happened. Who knows? He might feel excited too!

Whatever understanding may develop between you and your brother on this subject is your own private business, but take care to respect that privacy, and don’t talk about it anywhere, not even here on Bateworld.

How Bruce P. Grether became the Batemaster

Among his earliest memories, Bruce recalls seeing an adult man’s penis swing about anchored in a nest of curly brown hairs when the man was changing clothes. That penis fascinated him and he somehow knew it was of major importance. He also remembers how good it felt to slide down a stairway banister or to climb a tree with pressure between his legs sending delicious sensations all through his body.

At an early age, he played doctor with another boy his age, and the frottage he enjoyed as they rubbed their penises together made him feel One with All Things.

He was older, maybe 9 or 10 years when he figured out how to actually masturbate while taking a shower. Immediately Bruce became a fan of self-pleasure, though, with puberty, he became extremely shy about his body being seen. Still, when his pubic hair sprouted and his penis grew bigger, it astonished him how incredible the sensations could feel with adult genitalia.

All through his 20s and 30s Bruce loved masturbating and did it often. Something kept tell him though, that there could be more to it. None of the books he read about Tantra and Taoist erotic cultivation provided simple how-to instructions. Finally, in his early 40s, he came upon Joseph Kramer’s video about male genital massage: FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN.

Having no playmates to try this with, he tried it on himself. In the process, he discovered what he soon named “Mindful Masturbation.” For 6 weeks he masturbated for hours every day, and did not ejaculate once! This was the Penis Paradise he had been looking for since his adventures playing doctor as a young boy. He was changed forever and lost most of his shyness and insecurities.

Bruce began to listen deeply to whatever his penis told him. This way he learned more and more about male masturbation, the penis, and he studied human sexuality. Soon he was hired to write professionally for the sex education site JackinWorld (dot) com, which he did for some years under the name “Bruce McFarland.”

Since then, his erotic activism is more radical and he uses his actual given name: Bruce P. Grether, AKA the Batemaster. He has hosted workshops and now does online masturbation coaching. In 2012 his best-selling book THE SECRET OF THE GOLDEN PHALLUS was published and with his handsome young friend Blue Tyger he created the Erotic Engineering site to explore advanced male self-pleasure practices.

Bruce considers himself a Missionary of the Male Mysteries and his work continues.

  1. I dont understand your answer at all – his brother is on Bateworld! for crying our loud – he is a pretty serious Masturbator to be with pics and vids on Bateworld, NO regular/occasional Masturbator will seek out a men only web site to masturbate. Does not make him gay or anything, but it makes him a much more serious Masturbator than the average Joe who strokes occasionally for pressure or stress relieve.
My brother found ‘me’ on the Internet and while he did not barge into my room with his stiff dick hanging out demanding to masturbate with me, he properly concluded that I am, like himself, a severely addicted chronic compulsive Penis Masturbator………..afterwards, we have shared many stories, memories and experiences in an open, natural way as adults should be able to communicate – everything else is silly pretense.

  2. I agree with Addicted in that he is a very serious masturbator to be a member of BW but I agree also with the expert in that you should still tread lightly, coming off too eager can spoil the mood even for a chronic Bator.
