Ask The Batemaster: N95 Bate

N95-Mask-Bate-ATBM-TBB

QUESTION:

I’m in my twenties, and I’m a horndog. I’d love to share the bate in person, but I have asthma and use an inhaler. I’m fully vaccinated, but can’t afford to get COVID, which is still around, though people pretend it’s not. Will anyone be up for an N95 bate with a guy who keeps a distance?

RESPONSE:

Be straightforward about what you are comfortable with, wherever it is you seek to find a bate buddy. At this point, in the winter of ’23–’24, COVID infections are indeed increasing again, and many hospitals that dropped the mask requirements for their staff are re-instituting them. Your safety concerns are valid. There’s now a tripledemic with flu and RSV, all of which present respiratory dangers.

If you consider yourself at high risk, as you clearly do, you would be wise to consider: How important is this to you? It’s totally understandable if you feel a great longing to share in-person masturbation with others, but I also respect the fact that you seek to be careful. That’s a good sign that your self-esteem and self-preservation instincts are strong.

This is not a time of year when outdoor masturbation is likely to be pleasant due to the cold weather. Still, in the coming springtime, if you could find private places outdoors for such an encounter, it is considered quite safe to meet people outdoors. So long as you keep at least 6 feet or more distance between you, you and your cohort could enjoy watching each other masturbate.

It’s not to be an alarmist or to say you should live in fear. However, at this point in the USA, there are also millions of people living with the effects of “long COVID.” This can cause brain fog and fatigue and may affect muscles, with an uncertain span for these effects. We simply have not known anything about the condition for long enough to be sure.

It would obviously be safest to network with online masturbators. It’s easy to think that is not a substitute for in-person sharing, but the pandemic has taught us how powerful and effective the online alternative of video conference with sound and sight can be.

Consider the fact that not only do you get the eye candy of watching the other fellow stroke his erect penis and the fun of him witnessing you do the same, but when you both accept this kind of journey, you feel the actual sensations of pure penis pleasure in your body!

For now, all things considered, it may be best to accept this alternative to in-person sessions. Work on enjoying this as fully as possible, even if you seek in-person experiences. It’s certainly better than getting too frustrated or dangerously sick.

A note from The Batemaster: I’m honored that the guys at BateWorld have asked me to respond to some questions from male masturbators around the world every week.

Always check with your doctor about any issues you might be experiencing with your sexual organs. Prompt diagnosis and treatment are important. This article’s purpose is to inform and entertain readers and is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.

How Bruce P. Grether became the Batemaster

Among his earliest memories, Bruce recalls seeing an adult man’s penis swing about anchored in a nest of curly brown hairs when the man was changing clothes. That penis fascinated him and he somehow knew it was of major importance. He also remembers how good it felt to slide down a stairway banister or to climb a tree with pressure between his legs sending delicious sensations all through his body.

At an early age, he played doctor with another boy his age, and the frottage he enjoyed as they rubbed their penises together made him feel One with All Things.

He was older, maybe 9 or 10 years when he figured out how to actually masturbate while taking a shower. Immediately Bruce became a fan of self-pleasure, though, with puberty, he became extremely shy about his body being seen. Still, when his pubic hair sprouted and his penis grew bigger, it astonished him how incredible the sensations could feel with adult genitalia.

All through his 20s and 30s Bruce loved masturbating and did it often. Something kept tell him though, that there could be more to it. None of the books he read about Tantra and Taoist erotic cultivation provided simple how-to instructions. Finally, in his early 40s, he came upon Joseph Kramer’s video about male genital massage: FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN.

Having no playmates to try this with, he tried it on himself. In the process, he discovered what he soon named “Mindful Masturbation.” For 6 weeks he masturbated for hours every day, and did not ejaculate once! This was the Penis Paradise he had been looking for since his adventures playing doctor as a young boy. He was changed forever and lost most of his shyness and insecurities.

Bruce began to listen deeply to whatever his penis told him. This way he learned more and more about male masturbation, the penis, and he studied human sexuality. Soon he was hired to write professionally for the sex education site JackinWorld (dot) com, which he did for some years under the name “Bruce McFarland.”

Since then, his erotic activism is more radical and he uses his actual given name: Bruce P. Grether, AKA the Batemaster. He has hosted workshops and now does online masturbation coaching. In 2012 his best-selling book THE SECRET OF THE GOLDEN PHALLUS was published and with his handsome young friend Blue Tyger he created the Erotic Engineering site to explore advanced male self-pleasure practices.

Bruce considers himself a Missionary of the Male Mysteries and his work continues.

  1. as a bator who suffers from long COVID, i can’t tell you how much i appreciate seeing both this question and the thoughtful, affirming response! wishing good health to all of my brothers in bate

  2. Man, I feel this so much. As someone who’s got long-Covid, I appreciate it being mentioned as something to keep in mind. It sucks. Try to not get it.

It’s been a very isolated couple years and unfortunately I don’t see it changing anytime soon. My living situation doesn’t make it easy to mic, so camming doesn’t have much appeal for me, which is a bummer.

I was able to meet up with a buddy earlier this year who took precautions for a few days prior to us meeting up, and I appreciated it so much. It made the experience much better to not have to worry about covid exposure, as well as seeing that he cared enough to accommodate me. A great example of community and brotherhood. I’m glad and lucky to have him in my life 🙂

I made a group on BW for bators with Long Covid, you can check it out here– https://bateworld.com/group.php?group_id=3812.
