Ask The Batemaster: How Can I Keep From Ejaculating So Soon?

Ask The Batemaster: How Can I Keep From Ejaculating So Soon?

I’m still struggling with the urge to ejaculate after maybe just 10 or 15 minutes of stroking, at most.

QUESTION:

I’m still struggling with the urge to ejaculate after maybe just 10 or 15 minutes of stroking, at most. I know the edge or semen retention must be great. I do manage to go a bit longer sometimes, but it’s not easy for me.  In fact, I find it extremely hard to resist coming, once I reach a certain level. How can I get there, to go on and on, like I see you and some other men doing?

RESPONSE:

The wish to enhance your bate by enjoying it longer is excellent! Lasting longer, as long as you really want—to make ejaculation a choice—really is one of the best ways to enjoy your masturbation sessions more than ever before!

One reason this challenge of learning to prolong your stroking can prove difficult is self-conditioning. During our teens, most of us get into a pretty fixed masturbation routine during those amazing years when our genitals are first mature into adult equipment and provide unprecedented sensations of bliss and oblivion. It’s a major, enthralling revelation to a boy in puberty how powerful the pure penis pleasure can be!

Many guys begin to masturbate a great deal around this time, sometimes repeatedly each day. This sweet repetition becomes behavioral reinforcement of the pattern of activity that gets really tricky to alter later on. It is not unlike an addiction problem, in that you may never break out of the habitual pattern unless you make a conscious decision to try something different.

Though I understand why some men proudly proclaim themselves to be “masturbation addicts,” as it is actually a natural and healthy obsession to enjoy it a great deal, the term “addiction” has too many negative associations for me to feel comfortable with that label. Male masturbation IS natural and healthy, in fact, it’s beneficial! So, let me offer some suggestions…

Start with deep breathing, keep the focus on yourself, keep relaxed. Pay close attention to your level of arousal. Imagine your level of arousal on a scale from 1-to-10, with 9 considered to be ejaculation. Work to spread the sensations outward from your penis and your pelvis into your entire body. Stimulate other sensitive places such as nipples, inner wrist, ears, armpits, behind your knees, calves, ankles, arches of your feet and the webs between your toes. Keep checking where your arousal is. If it’s up past about 8, take care to slow down, breathe deeply again, even pause. I sometimes shake out my hands, as if they have accumulated a charge, and who knows? Maybe they have! Or roll your head on your neck slowly side-to-side.

Take your time, slow down.

Let your erection subside a bit, just chill, close your eyes. Smile to yourself before you resume stimulating yourself with further touch. Don’t focus on having a full erection all the time—let it wax and wane. Take your time, slow down, remind yourself often: I can do this—it’s entirely up to me!

Mild distractions can help. Use both hands, switch hands, change positions, consciously employ a variety of different strokes. Never hesitate to take a pee break, if you need to go. These are just a few of a host of tactics to help you make ejaculation a choice.

Here are further ways to prolong your bate sessions

How Bruce P. Grether became the Batemaster

Among his earliest memories, Bruce recalls seeing an adult man’s penis swing about anchored in a nest of curly brown hairs when the man was changing clothes. That penis fascinated him and he somehow knew it was of major importance. He also remembers how good it felt to slide down a stairway banister or to climb a tree with pressure between his legs sending delicious sensations all through his body.

At an early age, he played doctor with another boy his age, and the frottage he enjoyed as they rubbed their penises together made him feel One with All Things.

He was older, maybe 9 or 10 years when he figured out how to actually masturbate while taking a shower. Immediately Bruce became a fan of self-pleasure, though, with puberty, he became extremely shy about his body being seen. Still, when his pubic hair sprouted and his penis grew bigger, it astonished him how incredible the sensations could feel with adult genitalia.

All through his 20s and 30s Bruce loved masturbating and did it often. Something kept tell him though, that there could be more to it. None of the books he read about Tantra and Taoist erotic cultivation provided simple how-to instructions. Finally, in his early 40s, he came upon Joseph Kramer’s video about male genital massage: FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN.

Having no playmates to try this with, he tried it on himself. In the process, he discovered what he soon named “Mindful Masturbation.” For 6 weeks he masturbated for hours every day, and did not ejaculate once! This was the Penis Paradise he had been looking for since his adventures playing doctor as a young boy. He was changed forever and lost most of his shyness and insecurities.

Bruce began to listen deeply to whatever his penis told him. This way he learned more and more about male masturbation, the penis, and he studied human sexuality. Soon he was hired to write professionally for the sex education site JackinWorld (dot) com, which he did for some years under the name “Bruce McFarland.”

Since then, his erotic activism is more radical and he uses his actual given name: Bruce P. Grether, AKA the Batemaster. He has hosted workshops and now does online masturbation coaching. In 2012 his best-selling book THE SECRET OF THE GOLDEN PHALLUS was published and with his handsome young friend Blue Tyger he created the Erotic Engineering site to explore advanced male self-pleasure practices.

Bruce considers himself a Missionary of the Male Mysteries and his work continues.

  1. Great advice! It took me a few years to really learn about my arousal and how to literally meditate through it. For me, mindfulness practices like meditation and diaphragmatic breathing are necessary tools to learn control. When I learned to unclench my body which released unnecessary tension, it allowed me to become more present with my pleasure. I became more relaxed with my stroke sessions. It takes time to adjust to the new patterns of prolonged masturbation. You guys can do it!! Like anything, it takes continued practice and patience. Be kind to yourself if you accidentally cum. Relax and enjoy the journey fellas!

    1. Brother! Thanks so much for your thoughtful and illuminating response to this blog! Indeed, relaxing the body (and mind!) and paying close attention to your arousal level, slowing down and not viewing self-pleasure as any kind of competition, even against yourself, opens door to new levels of bliss! Tension, stress, is visible in the way many men still masturbate, and this is one reason it’s so valuable to see a man’s face as well as his body while he practices. Indeed, persistence and patience with yourself are required to really, truly learn to ascend to previously unknown levels of pure penis pleasure and allow it to radiate all through your body. This process clearly also wires new neural pathways into your nervous system and brain as you train your penis and whole body to generate ever-increasing erotic ecstasy! – BPG

    2. That’s great, and I really appreciate what you say here! You are so right, Brother! It may take some real effort at first to learn to remain relaxed during arousal, but it’s a key to learning how to gradually take yourself ever higher and higher with no real “ceiling” to your limitless bliss in sight!!! — BPG
