Ask The Batemaster: Ejaculation Volume and Distance

ATBM - Volume-and-distance - TBB

There is no magic fix […] but there are some things you can do.

QUESTION:

I’d like to shoot farther and shoot much bigger loads when I do. How?

RESPONSE:

This is a common concern of male masturbators. There is no magic fix to make your semen shoot out extremely far, or to make the volume you ejaculate tremendously huge, but there are some things you can do.

You are likely to shoot farther when you have stimulated yourself for quite a long time, and practice edging or some actual semen retention between ejaculations. The components of your semen are assembled in a small inner region inside your body behind the base of your penis.

Semen does not come directly from your balls as many men still seem to imagine. The only major component that comes from there are the spermatozoa or actual sperm cells. Yes, these are those pointy-headed little guys with the long tail that flails to propel them along. The spermatozoa are too tiny so see with the naked eye, though there can be between about 50 million to maybe 600 million in a single ejaculation. They are so tiny it takes them a long time to migrate along narrow tubes that run from your testicles up into your body behind your penis.

Most of what you see comes from ingredients mixed to transport those spermatozoa. Seminal vesicle fluid is about 70% of it, prostatic fluid, and the bulbourethral (I know, a lot of syllables!) fluid too. All this accumulates more and more while you masturbate. Some men say that hydrating well, drinking plenty of fluids, helps increase sperm production. Plenty of time bating before you discharge your semen can increase both amount and distance.

Your body has amazing inner muscle spasms that may help shoot the semen out from the tip of your penis. Still, top grip the shaft hard at the last minute may help it shoot further. Never judge yourself a failure if your amounts are not huge, and if you tend to just blurt out or even dribble, rather than shoot far.

It’s not a contest, not even against yourself. Be your own ally and best friend in terms of masturbation, and you will always be a winner!

A note from The Batemaster: I’m honored that the guys at BateWorld have asked me to respond to some questions from male masturbators around the world every week.

The Batemaster (Bruce P. Grether)

How Bruce P. Grether became the Batemaster

Among his earliest memories, Bruce recalls seeing an adult man’s penis swing about anchored in a nest of curly brown hairs when the man was changing clothes. That penis fascinated him and he somehow knew it was of major importance. He also remembers how good it felt to slide down a stairway banister or to climb a tree with pressure between his legs sending delicious sensations all through his body.

At an early age, he played doctor with another boy his age, and the frottage he enjoyed as they rubbed their penises together made him feel One with All Things.

He was older, maybe 9 or 10 years when he figured out how to actually masturbate while taking a shower. Immediately Bruce became a fan of self-pleasure, though, with puberty, he became extremely shy about his body being seen. Still, when his pubic hair sprouted and his penis grew bigger, it astonished him how incredible the sensations could feel with adult genitalia.

All through his 20s and 30s Bruce loved masturbating and did it often. Something kept tell him though, that there could be more to it. None of the books he read about Tantra and Taoist erotic cultivation provided simple how-to instructions. Finally, in his early 40s, he came upon Joseph Kramer’s video about male genital massage: FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN.

Having no playmates to try this with, he tried it on himself. In the process, he discovered what he soon named “Mindful Masturbation.” For 6 weeks he masturbated for hours every day, and did not ejaculate once! This was the Penis Paradise he had been looking for since his adventures playing doctor as a young boy. He was changed forever and lost most of his shyness and insecurities.

Bruce began to listen deeply to whatever his penis told him. This way he learned more and more about male masturbation, the penis, and he studied human sexuality. Soon he was hired to write professionally for the sex education site JackinWorld (dot) com, which he did for some years under the name “Bruce McFarland.”

Since then, his erotic activism is more radical and he uses his actual given name: Bruce P. Grether, AKA the Batemaster. He has hosted workshops and now does online masturbation coaching. In 2012 his best-selling book THE SECRET OF THE GOLDEN PHALLUS was published and with his handsome young friend Blue Tyger he created the Erotic Engineering site to explore advanced male self-pleasure practices.

Bruce considers himself a Missionary of the Male Mysteries and his work continues.

  1. Great answer. Especially the last two paragraphs.

My theory is that (ordinary) men, who are constantly exposed to the proliferation of porn, witness countless men shooting huge loads at massive distances. Its not coincidental tho. These guys, who are also super hot, have been picked out of dozens, if not hundreds, of auditioners for this very purpose. The result is that us ordinary guys end up feeling inadequate with their load size and distance.

This of course has triggered the supplements industry who (for all intents and purposes) prey on that sense of inadequacy. ($53 billion for 2021 alone!)

Age has a huge factor to play in it too. Even as a teen I was challenged to shoot into my face. (And loved it when I did!) but was easily able to get it up onto my chest on a regular basis. Now, I only make it to my belly button.

But this also really depends on the viscosity of your ejaculate, which you didn’t mention. The thicker it is, the harder it is to shoot it. My partner has watery sperm, and at 66 can still shoot quite a distance.

Now us men know how women have felt for a very long time – being objectified – and as a result feeling quite inadequate in the deluge of the universe of the super-hot, the super built, the super-endowed and the super-shooters.

  2. I’ve found that wearing a cock ring or ball stretches often seems to increase the ejaculation distance. The gear cannot be too tight, but a little snug seems to make me squirt further.

Quantity is more generally related to how long since I last ejaculated, and how long my penis has been masturbated to total engorgement, aching and throbbing on the edge of ejaculation. Nothing is guaranteed, though. Sometimes my penis just oozes a puddle of semen on my glans, other times I nut big ropes up to my beard.

When I was younger I seemed to ejaculate more & further, especially after I started edging instead of jacking quickly to sperming.
