Ask The Batemaster: How The “Million Dollar Point” Works For You

A follow up to the original post about the “Million Dollar Point”

QUESTION: Bruce, I’m not sure I understand your blog about the Million Dollar Point! I love to rub my perineum and press pretty hard there while I bate. Also, pushing there makes me cum extra intense! Can you clarify this for me?

RESPONSE: I’ll try! There’s absolutely nothing wrong with pressing and rubbing on your perineum while you masturbate. On the contrary, it can feel wonderful, and I do it often! In fact, I especially love to press the internal end of the root of my penis, just directly behind my scrotum, while I masturbate.

What I do not recommend is pressing really hard in the center of the perineum as a means to prevent semen from ejaculating from your penis. It’s only this really hard pressure in that one spot to pinch closed the urethra in the perineum, which I consider a bad idea. The urethra comes down from the bladder, into the spongy chamber of the penis, and it’s the channel for both urine and semen.

This hard pressure in one place is an effort to forcibly prevent semen from shooting out of your penis, even though you have internally ejaculated. It really misses the point of retaining your semen and may back the semen up into your bladder. It can even cause nerve damage related to erectile dysfunction. The point of retaining your semen, like edging, is to continue masturbating and to keep the erotic energy you generate, inside your body.

While you masturbate and experience erotic ecstasy this way, two wonderful chemicals that increase in your body and brain are oxytocin and dopamine. These chemicals help you feel happy, friendly, and good-natured. They gradually surge to higher and higher levels as your pleasure climbs plateau-to-plateau, and it is beneficial to keep them in your body, as much as possible.

Whenever you ejaculate, you may generate a burst of these chemicals, but then they are likely to quickly decrease in your system after that. When your attention returns to potential sources of stress or anxiety, you may experience a surge of adrenaline or the stress hormone cortisol.

This also happens if you ejaculate internally but press really hard and for a long time in one spot to try to keep the urethra closed in the middle of your perineum: your brain chemistry shifts.

I’ve seen some comments where that blog link was posted on Twitter too, and I realize that maybe I did not make myself quite clear. To press or rub directly behind your balls while you grip your erect shaft in the other fist is delicious! Keep the pressure moving often. Pay close attention and you will feel an extra surge of blood into your penis shaft. This feels tremendously good!

A note from The Batemaster: I’m honored that the guys at Bateworld have asked me to respond to some questions from male masturbators around the world every week.

How Bruce P. Grether became the Batemaster

Among his earliest memories, Bruce recalls seeing an adult man’s penis swing about anchored in a nest of curly brown hairs when the man was changing clothes. That penis fascinated him and he somehow knew it was of major importance. He also remembers how good it felt to slide down a stairway banister or to climb a tree with pressure between his legs sending delicious sensations all through his body.

At an early age, he played doctor with another boy his age, and the frottage he enjoyed as they rubbed their penises together made him feel One with All Things.

He was older, maybe 9 or 10 years when he figured out how to actually masturbate while taking a shower. Immediately Bruce became a fan of self-pleasure, though, with puberty, he became extremely shy about his body being seen. Still, when his pubic hair sprouted and his penis grew bigger, it astonished him how incredible the sensations could feel with adult genitalia.

All through his 20s and 30s Bruce loved masturbating and did it often. Something kept tell him though, that there could be more to it. None of the books he read about Tantra and Taoist erotic cultivation provided simple how-to instructions. Finally, in his early 40s, he came upon Joseph Kramer’s video about male genital massage: FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN.

Having no playmates to try this with, he tried it on himself. In the process, he discovered what he soon named “Mindful Masturbation.” For 6 weeks he masturbated for hours every day, and did not ejaculate once! This was the Penis Paradise he had been looking for since his adventures playing doctor as a young boy. He was changed forever and lost most of his shyness and insecurities.

Bruce began to listen deeply to whatever his penis told him. This way he learned more and more about male masturbation, the penis, and he studied human sexuality. Soon he was hired to write professionally for the sex education site JackinWorld (dot) com, which he did for some years under the name “Bruce McFarland.”

Since then, his erotic activism is more radical and he uses his actual given name: Bruce P. Grether, AKA the Batemaster. He has hosted workshops and now does online masturbation coaching. In 2012 his best-selling book THE SECRET OF THE GOLDEN PHALLUS was published and with his handsome young friend Blue Tyger he created the Erotic Engineering site to explore advanced male self-pleasure practices.

Bruce considers himself a Missionary of the Male Mysteries and his work continues.
