An improved bateworld.com instant message experience is coming
If you’re already a BateWorld member, you know that the best part of the site is connecting and communicating with guys who love penis just as much as you do. And since bators get right to the point, endless emails back and forth aren’t everybody’s favorite thing.
That’s why we’re upgrading our instant message system with some features tailor made for horny guys who wanna hang dong together:
- Visual overhaul allows BateChat to look and function more like other messaging apps you already know and love:
- Chat Tabs have a fresh new look. The profile pic is now seen in full display with a spot for the user’s status, new message count, and typing status.
- Use BateWorld on a tablet or mobile device? BateChat now looks and feels the same, regardless of your device.
- Disappearing Messages allow you to get deep in your dick with a buddy on chat, and not worry about the transcript coming back to haunt you later at a job interview. Chat messages disappear automatically after 5 days once read.
If you’re already an active user of BateWorld’s instant messaging feature, this next part is important: When the new system is installed Wednesday Oct. 19, at Midnight EST, any existing messages with buddies will be deleted, regardless of their read status. If you want to backup any chats you have open, we suggest either making a screenshot of your open chats by going to Messages > Chats for the full screen view. Or for specific chats with bators, you might choose to copy/paste the text of your last exchanges, so you can pick up right where you left off.
For privacy protection, we won’t back up chat messages before the changeover. But your bator bros will be waiting for you to connect as soon as chat is up and running again.

Messaging is an important part of the BW experience, being able to connect with other bators here.
I hope there is an invisible mode so you can chat with one person and not be bothered by everyone else
Actually, the messages disappear, regardless, wether I have read them or not. As my wifi has broken down recently twice for some fortnight each time, ALL chat boxes were empty when I returned, i.e. all new IMs I had gotten in the meantime, too. Unless of course, I didn’t get any new IMs in that time, but had forgotten all of the already read ones, but that is highly unlikely.
Looking forward for the new feature. BTW, I never knew before, why exactly the IMs had started to disappear. I thought, it was measure to keep the data volume down, haha. Well, makes sense. Five days are a VERY short time frame, though, wished it to be at least double as long.
Can’t wait! I like to chat but the BW chat was [less than ideal] especially on mobile devices. Thanks for the work and improving it! I’ll have to check to see if I am a paying member because I know these improvements, take time and money
I like that you make improvements but I really prefer the old chat style , you cant pull up your favs that you have been viewing.. The pop up chat takes up too much of the window making it hard to view the other table..
Is the new chat format going to allow us to send pics like before? I don’t see the tools to do that with. Am I missing something?
Yup! We got you. Do you see the + in the bottom left of chat box? Click it and you’ll be able to attach a file.

One feature I miss from old chat IM, you could click on the name of chatter to go to their profile. Was an easy to see their profile.
You can still do this! Just click on their image in the top left corner of the open chat box 🙂

New chat has several problems from my point of view
1. Positioning chatter icons on the right obscures the comments if you’re trying to do that while chatting.
2. The chat box has to be minimized to not block screen if you’re multi-tasking, but there’s no way to tell that you have a new chat message so you can click back for it. Icon might flash, for example.
3. You can only chat with 2 people at once, and occasionally I chat with 3 guys. The old “pop-out chat” was really good for this.
4., The add picture feature is hidden behind the “+” icon – it would be better to just use a better symbol
5., Frankly, the old chat was working really well! I think you need to realize that there are lots things to do on BW and lot of us multi-task while chatting. New chat should facilitate that mode of use.
6., Clicking on name to go directly to profile was a great convenience and should be restored

Love it! But, can we get a “dark Mode” option for the background as soon as possible? I struggle with contrast vision impacts.

It took a little getting used to the changes (as all changes take getting used to). The only issue I see is that the individual chat windows are now larger than the old style. I often bring up onscreen a photo of the bud I’m chatting with. The new windows cover a substantial portion of the photo and I have to keep minimizing the chat to see the picture.
