This situation, medically called “phimosis,” may prove quite limiting to the full erotic enjoyment of your penis.
QUESTION: My foreskin is way too tight, and I can’t comfortably get it back past the head of my penis. What can I do?
RESPONSE: This situation, medically called “phimosis,” may prove quite limiting to the full erotic enjoyment of your penis. I’m no doctor, and I suggest you also do your own research online, but don’t impulsively “buy” some of the products you may find online.
You may be aware that young boys are born with a foreskin entirely connected with the head of the penis in the space between the foreskin and the head, or glans penis, such that the foreskin cannot retract. The foreskin seems fused to the penis head, as a layer of cells connects the inner surface of the foreskin with the head until somewhere between the ages of 2 and 6, and possibly later. In some cases, this does not happen until you are around age 10 or even in your teens. After that layer of connective cells naturally dissolves, the foreskin can usually be withdrawn from the glans.
Once this happens naturally, the foreskin can retract, which helps in keeping the head of the penis clean and healthy with regular washing. Phimosis, or tight foreskin, however, can cause irritation and pain, and difficulty with maintaining hygiene, especially if you cannot comfortably withdraw the skin fully from the head down the shaft. If you consult a doctor, unfortunately many physicians may rush you to the surgical option of partial or complete circumcision. You should not consider such options seriously, unless you are sure it’s your own decision, and nothing else works. You cannot really get a fully functional foreskin back if you are circumcised.
Instead, a program of regular stretching of the foreskin, beginning gently, not to hurt yourself, of course, can gradually induce more cells to form within the remarkably sensitive and elastic tissues of the foreskin. Don’t use lube, as you want some traction on the skin. Manipulate thoroughly: tug, knead, stretch carefully. Be thorough, going all the way around the foreskin. Done evenly and gently over a period of several weeks, or a few months, this can help many men to achieve comfortable retraction. Still, be patient and don’t rush or force this, as most men can reach their goal with an increase of only a matter of millimeters. Take care not to force this process or actually tear the skin.
In some less common cases, a guy manages to pull his tight foreskin back from the head, but it gets stuck behind the head, and cannot be moved back over it. This is called “paraphimosis,” and can be serious as it cuts off circulation. Immediately lubricate well with oil and slide the foreskin back in place over the head, or if you cannot, you may need medical attention.
Once you can expose the head of your penis comfortably, you will enjoy the special pleasure of direct contact of your glans penis with your fingers and use a good natural lube such as 100% pure organic coconut oil. Or just enjoy the precum that naturally lubricates your foreskin on the head of your penis.
Masturbation of an intact penis involves a variety of ways to employ the foreskin: pouched over the head, pull it forward and back over the head, and also directly stimulate the exposed glans. Once your foreskin moves easily back all the way behind the head and forward to enclose it again, regular masturbation is a great preventive for recurrence of the condition!

So interesting to know about how the foreskins formed, nature is amazing. Hopefully he;ll be able to work on expanding that hood naturally so skin will glide over the shaft as its supposed to or least be able to retract it comfortably for a bate or sex.
Yes. Let’s hope that works. Even a partial circumcision, often just a kind of slit along the length to loosen the skin, is not a decision to undertake lightly. I love my circumcised penis as it is, but it’s a very individual decision–one I was not asked about. I was an infant. – BPG
I have paraphimosis and I do think surgery is my only option at this point, unfortunately. I’ve read of surgery that isn’t considered full on circumcision per say but is still invasive and changes the foreskin to a forever retracted mode. Have yet to decide what to do..
Thanks for explaining that phimosis foreskin stretching can be very hygienic. My current partner is a bit insecure about phimosis so I’d like to make sure that he feels that I’m not making fun of him for that. Maybe helping him find ways to deal with that problem will help him feel supported.
